The Business & Professional Women’s Club, Inc. (BPW) was founded in 1919, one year before the 19th amendment was passed by Congress. This amendment gave women the right to vote in the U.S.A.
Our Mission Statement:
To achieve equity for all women
in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information.
Our Objectives:
The GPBPW is very active in the state organization as well as in our local community. Each year we choose to work with several non-profit organizations through fundraising, mentoring, education, advocacy, and volunteering.
